Chadstone Shopping



The Project was erected in stages.  300 tonne of steelwork, all specially rolled by BHP, was part of the Myer Loading Dock.  Another 370 tonne of steelwork was part of the Hoyts Cinema extension. This was all part of a $150 million redevelopment of the Chadstone shopping centre.  The project involves the construction of two new department stores Myer and David Jones and approximately 100 specialty shops including Toys R Us, Country Road and AMF Bowling as well as an extension to the Hoyts Cinema.  Also a 4 storey office complex was part of the stage 22 development at a later stage.
